Sarah Moule at The Blue Hours, New Greenham Arts
The second half was given over to Sarah Moule and she was one of the best guests to appear on the show. Backed by the brilliant Simon Wallace, her husband, on piano, Moule is one of those performers who lazily plays with a song like a bluesy cat but nevertheless hits the middle of every note and enunciates every syllable. That Old Black Magic was a perfect vehicle for her, as so too was Ain‚t got nothing but the blues. (Sarah was) at her best with the dry wit of Fran Landesman songs.
