Teaching

Sarah is brilliant, and it’s a privilege to be tutored by someone who is themselves an accomplished professional singer. Very patient, well structured lessons and a lot of humour. It was fun as well as hard work and she was very good at pushing me to do better.

John, Superprof singing student

Sarah is passionate about teaching singing and voice production and has been tutoring privately in her South London studio for over ten years.  Lessons are tailored to the experience, age and goals of each student and typically cover vocal warm up and warm down, voice production (for speech and singing), performance and interpretation, musicianship and sight-singing.

Students have included National Theatre and Unicorn Theatre singer/actors, Brit school and Conservatoire applicants, cabaret performers and professional and amateur singers at all stages of their development.  She bases her teaching on 20 years professional performance experience and her own study of the Estill Model of voice production.

She has also led a NYJO Community Choir.
